A short while ago, we embarked on a cruise on the Seine to discover Lenovo’s new product range, including the Yoga and the IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC.

Announced at CES last January, the Yoga 11S, successor to the IdeaPad Yoga 13, will be available in France during July 2013 from €799.
Equipped with the same revolutionary hinge as its predecessor, the Yoga 11S can rotate 360° and fold in a single gesture to switch from laptop to tablet mode. Running Windows 8, this convertible mini-ultrabook is equipped with an 11.6-inch multi-touch screen and latest-generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processors. This proves particularly practical. Both a tablet and a PC, this product is very attractive with its Windows 8 interface.
Yoga 11S users will be able to take advantage of the “tent” mode to not only scroll through content such as photos or videos by touching the 10-point touchscreen with their fingertips, but also by making hand gestures in front of the webcam.
Available in silver gray and clementine orange, using the Yoga 11S in tablet mode lets you enjoy Windows 8 applications on a comfortable 11.6-inch screen. When used in laptop mode, its keyboard offers great writing comfort.
Reliable, powerful and extremely pleasant to use, this new evolution of the PC at the crossroads of touch and keyboard is a great tool for work and leisure.
Gamma2
Another big news is the IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC, the world’s first “interpersonal PC”, a multi-user, multi-touch, multi-mode home device that allows users to switch from personal computers to shared computing.
As a Table PC, Horizon lays flat on any surface, allowing two or more users to use the screen simultaneously. It supports interactive physical gaming accessories and is designed for multiplayer touch entertainment. And the atmosphere is immediately one of fun and sharing. The computer becomes the subject of conversation and a tool for family entertainment.
Thanks to Windows 8 and the “touch” mode, Horizon brings a new dimension to certain Electronic Arts and Ubisoft games. Horizon easily converts to a 27-inch desktop to tackle users’ productivity tasks.
At this week’s International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Lenovo is also presenting a 39-inch widescreen Table PC, dubbed “Gamma”. Still at the concept stage, Gamma demonstrates that a large screen is the key to a comfortable multi-user experience. This product foreshadows Lenovo’s plans for the future of the touch PC.

“Despite the adaptation of technology to the four screen formats, from desktop PC to laptop, tablet and smartphone, and even though the user has never had so much computing power at his or her disposal, there is still room for technologies like Horizon that bring users closer together. Indeed, with Horizon, individual computing becomes interpersonal, thanks to a collaborative experience,” explains Peter Hortensius, President of Lenovo’s Product Group. “Several people can now enjoy the same content (photos, music and video) on the same screen, and play together with our dedicated accessories that combine physical interaction and
digital. Horizon confirms our commitment to offering innovative products that define the PC-plus era”.

Horizon “Table – PC” includes Lenovo App Shop, a dedicated application store based on Intel AppUp with access to over 5,000 multi-user entertainment applications. Horizon also provides exclusive access to pre-loaded entertainment and educational applications from industry leaders such as Electronic Arts, FableVision, Open Labs, Ubisoft, FilmOn TV and hundreds of cutting-edge games and applications from BlueStacks, enabling gamers of all ages to :
 Become a real estate giant in a modernized version of the classic MONOPOLY,
 Operating the Lenovo controller, uniquely customized for FishingJoy and Raiding Company
 Discover, download and run some of the most popular apps for phones and tablets on Horizon Table PC with BlueStacks
