The 5 Place de l’Opéra is the perfect place to unwind after an exhausting week. There are no screaming children on the horizon, and to everyone’s delight, they have a space ‘apart’ where they can attend workshops, have fun in their own way, and so on. No inopportune waiting or shouting waiters, just a haven of peace and quiet.
Anything is possible. First of all, all you have to do is take a seat, discover the menu, … A glass of rosé champagne quickly joins you. The fine bubbles clink together, explode and create a pleasant sensation on the palate. After this entertaining aperitif, it’s a good idea to slip over to the buffet. A staggering choice requires you to take a few moments before considering all the possibilities. Whether sweet or savory, you’re sure to find something to tempt you. Shellfish offer an impressive array. Open oysters, gambas, prawns and shrimps reveal their fragrance one by one.

Your Opéra has a special delicacy of flavor. What’s one of your secrets for achieving this?
The coffee beans rest in the milk for two hours. Without being heated, the milk takes on the taste of coffee.
Here you present the 500 sheets, a Café de la Paix speciality. How long has it been around?
For a very long time, over thirty years. It’s half a mille-feuilles.
Your Panacotta, spiced up with wild strawberries, is very tasty. It’s creamy and subtle. How do you achieve such a texture?
The diluted proportion of gelatin in the device is reduced. On the other hand, agar-agar is added proportionally.
What’s your latest, amazing project?
The creation of a tennis racket for Rafael Nadal’s birthday.

A new fashion dessert, in the creative spirit of the House.
