Stefano Pilati arrives at Ermenegildo Zegna this season. After handing over the artistic direction of Yves Saint Laurent to Hedi Slimane, the Milanese designer will make his debut at Zegna in a symbolic location for Milan fashion: the historic pavilion 3, VI Febbraio, Fiera Milano City, also known as City Life.
The city of Milan and two internationally renowned architects (Zaha Hadid and Daniel Libeskind) have joined the effort to redevelop the site. Stefano Pilati has also decided on an installation on the site hosting the fashion show, and has commissioned Johan Söderberg (Swedish film director), Maxence Cyrin (French pianist) and Klas Åhlund (songwriter, producer and guitarist) to create the artistic content accompanying the show.
One of the special features of this installation is that it will outlast the fashion show and will be accessible to the public during Milan’s men’s fashion week from June 22 to 25.
