Zahia Dehar, a name and, above all, a forename that evoke more than just fashion. At the age of 21, the woman “through whom the scandal arrived” has managed to pull out all the stops and gain acceptance into the closed circle of the fashion world. Grand fashion shows in prestigious locations, shoots with the best photographers (Karl Lagerfeld, Ellen Von Unwerth, Pierre et Gilles…) and even an excellent reportage by the talented Hugo Lopez.
From July 1 to October 15, 2013, Zahia Dehar will take up residence at L’Éclaireur, offering an ephemeral boutique with a boudoir tea room feel. Ready-to-wear, sweet treats and lingerie will meet there. Visitors will be able to try on and treat themselves to pieces from her “Gâteau Bonbon” collection, while enjoying treats custom-designed by a pastry chef based on “Sugar Toys” sketches imagined by Zahia Dehar.
It’s worth noting that the limited-edition lingerie has been entrusted to Maison Lejaby, with its unrivalled French know-how and expertise. The pop-up tea room will then travel to New York and Tokyo.
We can’t wait to discover Zahia Dehar’s new collection at her next show, but the mystery remains.
