K11 presents Fascination/Imagination: an exhibition of art and fashion at Paris Fashion Week
Prestigious international fashion brand K11 and renowned jeweler Chow Tai Fook returned to Paris Fashion Week, joined by a number of up-and-coming young Chinese artists to present Fascination/Imagination, an exhibition celebrating fashion and art, for prestigious guests at the Pavillon Vendôme, Paris, on March 5, 2013.
The event featured unique works by fashion designer Simon Gao, voted “Designer of the Year” by Numéro Chine, Modern Weekly and K11, painter Meng Baishen, “Artist of the Year” supported by K11, photographer Charles Guo, filmmaker Rain Li; as well as an installation by artist collective LuxuryLogico, works by digital art ensemble Cocho Take and figurine designers Jeffrey Koh and Francesco de Molfetta. The highlight of the event was the presentation of Chow Tai Fook’s Ombre Di Milano high jewelry collection. This collection incorporates the beauty of nature in a wide range of colors, shapes and textures, combined with the perfect marriage of design and craftsmanship.
A resounding success, the event attracted many influential figures from the worlds of art and luxury fashion, and was graced by the presence of such industry luminaries as Alysson Paradis, Mademoiselle Agnès, Vahina Giocante, Gabrielle Lazure and Axelle Laffont, as well as music artists such as Elodie Frégé and Victoria Olloqui, and fashionistas from East and West such as Yaz Bukey, among many others.
The evening, an audacious journey for the senses, marked another step in K11’s long-standing commitment to supporting the development of young Chinese creative talent by showcasing them on the international stage. To continue the momentum, n Fascination/Imagination will be present at the K11 Art Mall in Hong Kong.
