LANA DEL REY, EGERIE OF THE NEW JAGUAR F-TYPE, TODAY RELEASES HIS LATEST CLIP “BURNING DESIRE”
Music which is also the trailer for the new Jaguar F-Type, whose short film is by Ridley Scott.
Lana Del Rey, winner of the 2012 Brit awards and Ivor Novello, unveils the video for her latest hit “Burning Desire”. The music, written and composed by the singer, is also the trailer for the film “Desire”, starring Golden Globe award winner Damian Lewis. The film, created in partnership with Jaguar, was directed by Ridley Scott.
The “Burning Desire” video was shot in south-east London, in the famous “Rivoli Ballroom”, the last authentic ballroom in London, dating back to the 50s.
The eclectic, neo-classical decor of the venue blends perfectly with the originality of Lana del Rey’s style.
Lana Del Rey says: “I’ve always had a great fondness for films, and I’m very proud to be part of the project Jaguar has imagined for the launch of its new sports car, with Damian Lewis. Art inscribes its creations in time. I believe that everyone is free to choose their own destiny, and that it’s always better to follow one’s passions with conviction”.
The collaboration between Lana Del Rey and the luxury car brand Jaguar was announced last September at the Paris Motor Show. The F-TYPE is the first 2-seater sports car since the famous Jaguar TYPE E.

The film tells the story of Clarck (Damian Lewis), who sets off in his car to meet a mysterious woman (Shannyn Sissamon) in the middle of the desert. Directed by Adam Smith, it’s a story of betrayal, passion and greed. The film will be presented in Spring 2013.
