JEAN DOUCET presented its Spring/Summer 2013 Haute Couture collection at the Théâtre du Châtelet, with the exceptional participation of Prima Ballerina IRINA KOLESNIKOVA, rising star of the Saint Petersburg Ballet Theatre.

Like classical ballet, Jean Doucet’s new Spring/Summer collection is a blend of virtuosity and grace. For his 2013 collection, Jean Doucet drew his inspiration from the sensuality of the dancer’s movements. Playing with the body’s oscillations, he offers the eye ethereal silhouettes.

A pure collection. No prints, no bright colors, just noble, supple materials: chiffon, silk crepe and lots of lace… Powdery, nude, white and black tones, sometimes highlighted with gold…
Suits are structured, with marked waists and visible epaulets, but all lightness and transparency.
Evening gowns are worked on the bias, with many bare backs… Each creation is enhanced by sumptuous
“embroidery-jewelry”.

A few models from the new Jean Doucet for Jean Doucet luxury leather goods collection were presented on the catwalk.

And the new rosé champagne “Dentelle” by Doucet, created by Champagne De Saint Gall, was unveiled to all guests at the cocktail party following the fashion show.
