Paul & Joe Menswear Fall/Winter 2013/2014

Riding the preppy chic wave, but not without a certain dose of mischief, Paul & Joe presented its Fall Winter collections for the eponymous line and the Sister line on the second day of menswear week.

Typically Parisian, the Paul & Joe man is versatile and can wear tartan shirts as well as elegant suits.

This season, there’s no separation between the big line and the Sister line, because they complement each other.

Paul & Joe’s attention to print is evident on shirts and sweaters, and the attention to detail is very present, as evidenced by the raccoon pattern on the shirts. The print can also be worn as a total look (as seen on the weave of the suits).

The pants have wide darts, a sign of the brand’s relaxed style. In autumn/winter, woollens are of course present, and there are many earth-toned colors, from brown to beige, but also blues and other brighter hues (even gold on a brocade ensemble).

Multi-materials make outfits adaptable to a wide range of occasions, with corduroy on the shoulders of yoke sweaters and leather. The cap will be Paul&Joe’s fall/winter headwear of choice, in a very teenage spirit without lacking in chic.
