Yohji Yamamoto Menswear Fall/Winter 2013/2014

Yohji Yamamoto, the genius Japanese designer we’ve already told you about, has struck again (!). Not content with presenting collections that outdo each other in technicality, this season Yohji Yamamoto once again chose to surprise and disguise his models by affixing facial hairpieces, giving a very traditional look to the models’ faces (Adrien Sahores was also there).

Lengths are the order of the day this time, and Yohji Yamamoto doesn’t hesitate to have his models wear knee-length cardigans or skirts. Layering is an integral part of this Fall/Winter collection, with animal prints and tartan motifs featured in a number of looks.

In cozy wool and fur, Yohji Yamamoto’s men’s skirts combine comfort and elegance.

The color palette ranges from black and white to light purple and beige, and the designer doesn’t hesitate to mix them in unexpected ways.
