It’s always interesting, when you don’t have the opportunity to go and see the London or Milan shows, to take advantage of press days to see the collections in person. This was the case for Erdem and Missoni, both clients of the same Paris press office, and both were presented in the same showroom on Thursday November 8.
Erdem:
Erdem is an English fashion house (it’s actually the first name of the designer Erdem Moralıoğlu).
This season, the designer has chosen to play on the mix of materials in pastel tones mixed with deeper or brighter colors.
A bucolic collection, full of lightness and floral details, blending classic and modern, with a play of transparencies and matching metallic shoes.
Missoni
No need to introduce Missoni, one of the biggest names in Italian fashion, the brand has once again managed to renew itself with a collection based on crocheted pieces featuring many colors, bucking the monochrome trends of the spring summer 2013 season. And the children’s collection is a veritable treasure chest of tenderness.
