Since 1932, the Maison de la Truffe on Place de la Madeleine in Paris has been a benchmark in the world of truffles. At the end of 2009, the Maison de la Truffe was delighted to open its second address on rue Marbeuf, a stone’s throw from the Champs Élysées, to the delight of lovers of this diamond of gastronomy.
Designed by Spanish decorator Thomas Urquijo in an updated, elegant and graphic Art Deco style, this showcase symbolizes the harmonious marriage between tradition and creation that is the signature of the Maison de la Truffe.
The dining room recaptures the spirit of a true luxury brasserie, with its comfortable upholstered banquettes and intimate tables, while Arturo Zavala’s soothing tones and magnificent photographs invite you to take a stroll through the plant kingdom of truffles.
Come and succumb to the unique and successful combination of truffle pizza, eggs en cocotte, velouté parmentier with black truffle pearls or langoustine and foie gras ravioli. Meat lovers will appreciate the “Black Angus” entrecôte with black truffle Maître d’hôtel butter, and the chocolate mi-cuit with its scoop of vanilla ice cream flavored with white truffle will undoubtedly delight all taste buds.
