Last Wednesday was the opening night of the Fiac, and we were invited by orange to enjoy this exclusive evening.
Here are our artistic finds:
Orange, exclusive technology partner of FIAC 2012
Orange is FIAC’s exclusive technology partner for this 2012 edition, with the aim of bringing the benefits of the digital world to contemporary art
For the second year running, Orange is providing internet coverage of the Grand Palais for the duration of the event (wifi and optimized 3G+ coverage).
Orange confirms its commitment to culture
For several years now, the Group has been implementing projects at the crossroads between culture and technological innovation. With its ability to put digital technology at the service of culture and to promote new uses, the Group, a veritable “digital coach”, supports institutions and is committed to helping them enhance their heritage and reach out to their audiences.
Orange is already a major partner of prestigious institutions such as the Château de Versailles, the future Louvre in Lens, and Marseille Provence 2013. The Group’s new partnerships this year with the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, the musée du quai Branly and the Palais de Tokyo are also part of this approach.
Orange also supports numerous initiatives in the contemporary art and design communities. With “Orange vous confie les clés – concours orange jeunes designers #2”, Orange launched the second edition of its design competition for young designers. Because the Orange Group believes in innovation and creation, it also closely follows the work of digital artists and those with design and video game backgrounds.
Orange thus demonstrates its ability to put digital technology at the service of culture for as many people as possible.
