G.H.MUMM takes us to the Ball!
On Thursday September 6, the prestigious G.H.Mumm house welcomed us to a dream venue: the Pavillon Cambon Capucine. A perfect opportunity to celebrate champagne culture and sway to a quirky contemporary ball. G.H.MUMM revealed its new communication around the G.H.MUMM Champagne Protocols, an invitation to rediscover the rituals of tasting with a look that’s both elegant and inventive! The invitation’s dress code called for a touch of red.
Nearly 300 guests from all five continents were welcomed by César Giron, Chairman and CEO of Pernod SA, in the presence of the company’s Chef de Caves Didier Mariotti. Among them, the Israeli artist Noma Bar, who collaborated in perfect harmony with the Champagne House, illustrating with elegance and modernity the world of G.H.MUMM’s Champagne Protocols.
It was also an opportunity to try your hand at sabering champagne. An experience I’d never had before.
French actor Lambert Wilson honored the evening with his presence, opening the ceremony and making a toast: “I love the idea of rituals around tasting, and I’ve discovered many that I intend to use! ”
Also present for the evening were Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, Emmanuel de Brantes, Allyson Paradis, Regis Wargnier, Stephane Bern, Chantal Thomass and Michel Fabian, Marie-Amélie Seigner, Olivia Putman, Hubert Le Gall, Philippe Faure-Brac, Yves Gastou, Dani and Pierre-Dominique Burgaud, Stanislas Merhar, Christopher Thompson, Bernard de la Villardière and his daughter, Bunny Godillot and Eleonore de la Rochefoucault.
In the majestic salle de réception d, guests discovered the protocols of G.H.MUMM through a contemporary and refined ball. At 9:45pm, as a spectacular waltz of sommeliers, choreographed by Stéphane Jarny, descended the Pavillon’s monumental staircase and crossed the room, steles lit up to unveil G.H.MUMM’s end-of-year creations, the “Protocoles Deluxe Case” and the “Protocoles Gift Box”. The MUMM Box, a large luminous checkerboard, combined with the music of DJ Florian Sailer, kicked off the G.H.MUMM Ball.
An enjoyable moment and a successful evening from start to finish!
