The ESCADA flagship store at 275 rue Saint Honoré in Paris was transformed into a circus for the occasion.
Artists from the “Les coureurs de Toit” company entertained the window displays all evening with contortionists, jugglers, hoop players, lanyards… to the rhythms of the “Ouaiscecool” brass band (set up in another window), covering the great standards of film and circus music. The show was as much on the inside as it was on the outside, where the stunned crowd applauded.
In the lounge-beauty area created especially for the evening, Hair Designer Christophe-Nicolas Biot and his team had set up their famous “Bar à Chignons Minute”, where over a hundred women had their buns crimped, while the Weleda institute had set up an organic hand massage area using pomegranates and other plants, for immediate relaxation that lasted throughout the evening. Delphine Wespiser, Miss France 2012, even came close to falling asleep during the massage…
La Fontaine à Absinthe-Pernod, with its lime and cucumber cocktail, served the more than 1,000 people who attended the event…
Numerous celebrities were on hand to discover the ESCADA-Vogue Fashion Night collector’s T-shirt.
Actresses include Béatrice Rosen, who starred in Agnes Jaoui’s forthcoming film “Un Jour Mes Princes Viendront” (to be released in early 2013), Anna Sherbinina, who is between rehearsals for her new play and has just shot Vera Storojeva’s “Divorce avec moi”, Julie Judd, who has just completed this summer’s theatrical success “Le Plaisir” (Pépinière-Opéra) and is at the cinema in “Confession d’un enfant du siècle” (with Ch. Gainsbourg and P. Doherty), Delphine Chanéac back from the USA after a year shooting the US series Le Transporteur, Cyrielle Clair, Jovanka Sopalovic who directed her first short film “Le Pari” (www.parifilm.com) and is preparing her first feature film, and Shirley Bousquet, currently shooting the film “Paris à tout prix”.
The pretty actresses were joined by Eric Judor, currently starring in the film “WRONG”, Christian Vadim, and Zinedine Soualem, who is preparing his first feature film produced by Danyboon
The singers Hélène Ségara, touring Notre Dame de Paris with Garou, and Mélissa Mars, releasing her new single Tweet n’ Roll.
Choreographers Kamel Ouali and Mia Frye, Sandrine Quétier who will present Danse avec les Stars in early October on TF1, Hermine de Clermont-Tonerre, Catherine Salvador, wife of Henry Salvador.
Miss France 2012 Delphine Wespiser, Alexandra Rosenfeld (ex-Miss France) and Sylvie Tellier.
