Pauline Darley is a talented photographer who has been featured in Luxsure, Elle, l’Officiel de la mode, Gala, Madame Figaro…
She talks to us about her passion for photography and her Ha Fuggito series, which you’ll soon find in the next issue of Luxsure Magazine.

Where does this passion for photography come from?
I don’t really know! At least, not like a lot of photographers who say that this passion came to them at an early age. As far as I’m concerned, it was more in my teens, when I was 17. I wanted to take photos, I liked to look for the right framing, to see how I could change the colors on retouching software. to transform an image as I could imagine it.
What are your sources of inspiration?
A bit of everything: films, paintings, books, mythologies, the people around me
What makes a good fashion photo?
For me, simplicity produces the most beautiful images. A good fashion photo is a woman with the right makeup and hair, wearing clothes that show her off to her best advantage. In the studio, on location or on location, no extravagant poses or anything too expressive…
What makes the difference between a beautiful woman and a beautiful model?
The beautiful model (or simply the mannequin) knows himself and how to position himself to highlight himself or a garment.
How would you define your style?
I don’t know, people say my work is soft, elegant, sometimes dark, but I think you’d better tell me!
What would be your dream photo shoot?
Nothing in particular, but I lack the means. I dream of photographing in beautiful places, in a setting that I have chosen or thought up 🙂

You are close to bloggers, do you think that bloggers have revolutionized fashion photography?
For as long as fashion blogs have existed, many brands and magazines have been inspired by them. I don’t think they’ve revolutionized fashion, but they’ve brought their own style, something more natural perhaps, a lifestyle.
Which designer do you dream of shooting?
Dior, Balenciaga, Mcqueen. I really like their universe 🙂
Tell us about the shooting location?
The session took place at the Hotel de Buci, in this very beautiful hotel. We were lucky enough to be in the hotel’s largest suite. I was able to do everything I wanted, I couldn’t have wished for better. The welcome was excellent. Thanks again!
