Incredible moment, this Sunday around 7pm. La Vue, the trendy bar at Lafayette Concorde, decided to give its interior a makeover and bring festive Parisians to La Plage. Tired of the monotony of dull, boring Sunday evenings, the bar’s management decided to shake up the Parisian atmosphere. The usual seats have been moved and deckchairs installed. Brightly colored, they are ideal for travelling. Between Rolland Garros and Paris Plage, the heart sways. The musical ambience – a few sonatas and cello concertos by Vivaldi – makes Paris Plage so undeniably old-fashioned. The chic is obvious.
The soul light, soothed by such playful serenity, the mind can dream of the best. The palate itself blesses the heavens. Cocktails, champagnes, anything goes. The attentive ear will perceive in the background the sound of the shaker, extreme sweetness. Any self-respecting partygoer will recognize this sound with enthusiasm !
Parisian life is full of surprises, more or less successful. This one’s a delight.
