Cold weather has its good side, and snow brings unsuspected joys. As winter sets in, there’s still time to indulge in its pleasures. Skiing is one of them. Skiing down the slopes, thrilling to the thrill of speed, or more modestly, a few snowploughs, can leave the body aching, or even worse, if it hasn’t been previously prepared for the exercise.

Club Med’s exceptional ability to offer fun and efficient activities has led to the introduction of Snow Fit classes. These consist of a series of alternating exercises. Each of these exercises calls on different muscles, sharpens your sense of balance and improves your ability to anticipate situations.

The 45-minute class is divided into various phases. First comes cardio. The body is invigorated. Next comes endurance. With the help of various accessories – weights, balls, bars, etc. – abdominal exercises and stretching become the order of the day. The idea of games could cross one’s mind, so enthusiastic is the atmosphere. In the background, inciting music sets the body in motion. Unlike many of its competitors, Club Med’s professionalism consists in offering optimum training in an entertaining environment.

For the past three years, Snow Fit has been making it easier for skiers to leave and return home in winter. It would be a pity to limit this training to them alone.
