ROSA MUNDI, THE LAST DEFENDED FLOWER FROM DIPTYQUE

At the start of the new year, Parisian perfumer Diptyque makes its comeback with Rosa Mundi, a limited-edition candle featuring two roses.
Presented in a case with an original graphic universe, this candle with its soothing, romantic and uplifting scent makes an exceptional gift for this approaching Valentine’s Day.
A decorative object for the living room, bedroom or bathroom, the scent of Centifolia Rose and Damacesna Rose will fill your evenings with rich, velvety aromas.
If the name rings a bell, it’s probably because you’re familiar with the legendary love affair between King Henry II of England and Rosamund Clifford, who was poisoned by the king’s jealous wife. Inconsolable, the king had his tomb covered with this particular variety of rose on each anniversary of their meeting.
Blackcurrant, bergamot, a hint of lychee, as well as geranium, hedione, white musk, cedar and honey magnify the natural freshness of roses to celebrate the multiplicity of their aromas.

The limited edition Rosa Mundi candle will be available from January 2012
Scented candle 190 g, 45€.
