Vente-privee.com celebrates its 10th anniversary
vente-privee.com, the world’s leading online event-based retailer, celebrated its 10th anniversary in November. This anniversary is also an opportunity to look back on 26 years of experience: in destocking major brands, in collaborations and in the relationships of trust that have been created between Jacques-Antoine Granjon, CEO and founder of vente-privee.com, 1,450 partner brands, 1,400 employees and over 14 million members across 8 European countries.
So it’s only logical that the site should treat itself to a little gem by Erwin Olaf.A renowned Dutch photographer and video artist whose work has been exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Chelsea Art Museum in New York and the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris, among others, Olaf has also received numerous awards, including Photographer of the Year at the International Color Awards in 2006 and, more recently, a Lucie Award for his body of work.
He directed “Desire”, a 2’50 film for a one-off ephemeral broadcast, on November 22, 2011 at 9:20pm.If you missed it :
Erwin Olaf offers his vision of the vente-privee.com universe, between aesthetics, seduction and emotion. He brings to life the emotion of the vente-privee.com shopping experience, inspired by desire. The artist paints a very personal portrait of the site, in his own way, anchored in the clean, retro world of the 50s. The simple plot is based on a misunderstanding: do women look longingly at the deliveryman or the parcel?
Finally, this holiday season also sees vente-privee.com open its doors in two new countries: the Netherlands and the United States. Launch scheduled for the end of the year.
