From Saturday, December 3, 2011, Michel Rostang’s famous fresh truffle sandwich will be on sale, for the first time, at La Grande Epicerie de Paris: a sandwich combined with a noble, delicious and “offbeat” product, all to go!
The recipe consists of sourdough country bread, a thin layer of salted butter, and 20-25g slices of fresh “Tuber Mélanosporum” truffles from the Rhône Valley or Périgord.

Its secret lies in its preparation: leave it to rest in the fridge for 24 hours, so that all the truffle’s aromas permeate the sandwich.
Sold in an attractive “Rostang Père & Filles” box, it can be stored in its fabric bag in the fridge. A chic snack to share or a refined starter, the truffle sandwich will reveal all the authentic flavors of the black nugget!
On sale from December 3, 2011
Price: 65 euros
