Coldplay in private concert at La Cigale: Luxsure was there!

On Monday October 31, you had to be at La Cigale. Orange organized a private session of the group that electrifies crowds, just a few days after the release of their 5th album “Mylo Xyloto”. Tickets for their December concert at Bercy sold out like hotcakes within half an hour. There was no need to queue at FNAC for this one, as tickets were reserved for a lucky few who had won their seats in a competition.
Let’s move on to the concert itself. In an overheated hall packed with cheering fans, Chris Martin alternated between hits and extracts from the new album. The band isn’t used to playing in intimate settings, but they pulled it off very well. The décor was completely confusing, with multicolored tags reminiscent of Basquiat and the hippie spirit of the seventies.Full of enthusiasm and slipping in a few words in French, the band’s leader showed great spontaneity. A rare feat after such a successful show. A punchy set lasting just over an hour, with moments of emotion. A number of celebrities were on hand in the balcony, including Tony Parker, Pascal Obispo and M. Pokora. M. Pokora posted a series of glowing tweets on the web. The concert, organized by operator Orange, was broadcast live online via Dailymotion and Deezer. Coldplay fully justifies its position today.
A moment of pure happiness!
