Le Bristol, the flagship of the luxury hotel industry and the first hotel to receive the Palace distinction in May 2011, has once again been honored with one of the most prestigious awards, the “Best Culinary Experience” for 114 Faubourg, at the Virtuoso “Best of the Best – Hotel Awards” evening on August 17, 2011.

The reception took place at the prestigious Le Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, offering a sumptuous setting for this gala evening of international renown in the luxury hotel and catering sector.

The “Best of the Best – Hotel Awards” are recognized as one of the most coveted awards ceremonies in the industry.
Le Bristol Paris was the only French luxury hotel to receive an award in one of the 10 categories of the “Best of the Best – Hotel Awards” out of the 900 luxury hotels and resorts selected by Virtuoso.

The “Best Culinary Experience” trophy is awarded by Virtuoso, an association of over 6,000 of the world’s most prestigious travel agencies.

The award recognizes Le Bristol and 114 Faubourg for their delicious, deli-cate cuisine, orchestrated by three-star chef Eric Frechon, assisted by chef Eric Desbordes. The award also recognizes the quality of service overseen by Restaurant Manager Patrice Jeanne, who has 33 years’ experience in some of Paris’s finest gourmet restaurants, including the Plaza Athénée and Le Cinq at the George V.

Didier Le Calvez, Chairman and CEO of Le Bristol, received the trophy in person and declared himself “delighted by the vote of the hotel industry’s leading professionals. This award recognizes the dedication, rigor and quality of the work of Chef Eric Frechon, 3 Michelin stars who oversees the kitchens at Le Bristol.”
