LUDWIG VAN X VAULT by VANS DEADSTOCK CANVAS PROJECT

What do you get when you combine an inveterate passion for sneakers with a certain sensibility for recycling vintage materials? A collaboration between the Ludwig Van brand and the Vault by Vans Deadstock Canvas line!
In fact, Vans and menswear brand Ludwig Van are launching a limited edition of Vans Deadstock Canvas shoes, based on the design of the brand’s previous models.
Originally, Mike Dytri – Ludwig Van’s designer – went to a garage sale and found a stock of decades-old Vans sneakers. From then on, the designer of the famous casual brand decided to work in close collaboration with those of the Vans brand to conceive and create a very limited edition of Vans elaborated on the principle of recycling natural materials. 288 pairs of fourteen different models were produced. The shoes come with a D-ring belt, a flip book and a shoe bag, all packaged in a Vans x Ludwig Van limited edition box.
The collection will only be available in seven boutiques worldwide. In Europe, you’ll have to go to Chez Colette in Paris or
Dover Street Market in London to find one of these collector’s items.
On May 1st, a pair of shoes will go on sale on the Ludwig Van website, customized by Dytri himself http://www.ludwigvantheman.com/shop/
