On the occasion of its 90th anniversary, Gucci is pleased to present its new Gucci 1921 collection. Named after the founding date of the Florentine house by Guccio Gucci, this collection features four women’s models and two men’s models from the Gucci Coupé collection, created by Creative Director Frida Giannini.

His dedication to craftsmanship and iconic style have endured throughout the life of the House of Gucci, and today, the tradition of quality and luxury is more alive than ever. True to this heritage, Gucci Montres has established itself as a watch brand in its own right, and as a model of “Made in Switzerland” excellence.
The Gucci 1921 collection features a design that combines classic and contemporary elements: the sophisticated square shape of the watch recalls the aesthetics of the 1920s while creating a modern style.
Each watch is distinguished by an exclusive case, clad in calfskin leather in black, dark brown, camel or white. The leather straps, in matching or contrasting shades of black and dark brown or white, complement the dials beautifully. In addition, the iconic Gucci horsebit appears on both bracelet and clasp.
The men’s models are powered by a Dubois-Dépraz automatic movement. They are distinguished by a square case with rounded corners in sunbrushed steel, and by an exclusive dial: sleek, sport-inspired, it indicates hours and minutes, and features a small seconds at 9 o’clock, as well as a circular date at 3 o’clock. At the top, it bears Guccio Gucci’s signature logo and the inscription “1921”. Available in brown or black, the leather straps are adorned with the diamond motif, echoing the central motif of the dial in cream or black.
The Gucci 1921, like all Gucci watches, is hand-assembled and illustrates the savoir-faire of the House’s leather craftsmen. The high-grain leathers are worked by highly skilled craftsmen, and the watch’s various components are assembled one by one. Finally, the case and leather strap are both partially hand-sewn.
Sober yet elegant, the dial features fine hands, minimalist hour markers and the Gucci name. Particular attention has been paid to detail, as evidenced by the initial “G” on the crown and the “Guccio Gucci” signature on the caseback.
