The famous concept store, which needs no introduction, Colette celebrates the new jersey of the French soccer team.
To coincide with the release of Nike’s new Equipe de France soccer jersey, the concept store presents its list of ten players to accompany the famous brand with the comma, and revisits fashion, gastronomy and design classics in the white and blue stripes of the marinière. The sports equipment manufacturer and Colette have teamed up to launchthe “Away Project“, featuring emblematic products from eleven major brands, revisited in an ultra-limited edition marinière style.
Eleven brands and a crack team are flying the Colette flag on the 1st floor of the rue Saint-Honoré store, with iconic collectors’ items featuring the famous blue-on-white stripes. To welcome them in style, Colette will be completely redecorating part of its store with navy and white stripes until April 09, 2011.
Yves Saint-Laurent will be the defender, with a look to match our marinière, thanks to a palette of four Pure Chromatics eyeshadows in bluish shades with blue and white stripes, produced in a limited edition of 100.
Montblanc, as a worthy attacker, gets straight to the point with the Meisterstück pen in Meissen porcelain, limited to 5 pieces.
Ladurée will give us strength with its Colette Barbe à Papa macaroons, produced in a limited edition of 300.
There’s nothing better than a bag to go with your marinière ! Chanel is offering an ultra-limited edition of 11 bags, while Longchamp is reinventing its famous Pliage bag in blue and white stripes in an edition of 100.
For accessories, Hermès offers the Carré Brides de Gala in a limited edition of 300, while Swatch sets the record straight with the Gent watch in an edition of 200.
Colorwave will dress your Iphone 4G in the famous stripes in 5 copies, Comme des Garçons will launch a 200-copy version of the CDG2 perfume, while Trousselier ‘s Lapin Ange will visit us in 100 copies.
Hurry, you’ve only got until April 09 to take advantage of this and other surprises. There won’t be enough for everyone!
