New Year’s Eve 2010 is fast approaching, closely followed by a gourmet event of the highest order: Epiphany and its delicious Galette.

But there’s one galette you can’t miss: the deliciously mischievous Galette des Reines du Meurice, back for the third year running!

Galette des Reines 2011

With a touch of humor and a lot of glamour, Le Meurice Pastry Chef Camille Lesecq has once again imagined a pure sweetness inspired by all the women, beautiful unknowns or more prominent, who frequent the famous Parisian palace.

This year’s Galette des Reines is a delicious all-chocolate puff pastry galette, filled with frangipane and enhanced with pink berries and pistachios.

Bracelet Caspita

A little pleasure never comes alone, so a precious bean created by Caspita is to be discovered at random among the galettes. Inspired by Jerome Bosh‘s painting The Adoration of the Magi, the bean is actually a sublime 18-carat yellow gold bracelet revealing 3 sculpted crowns in white, red and yellow gold as an offering for all those queens!

So come and try your luck and enjoy the most delicious galettes at Le Dali restaurant from January 3 to 23, 2011 from 12pm to 11pm at the Le Meurice hotel!
