Inspired by the floral images of Robert Mapplethorpe, Tim Van Steenbergen has created a Spring Summer 2011 collection on the theme of the woman gardener.
Pieces of flowers come to life on dresses, curves of leaves embellish cuts and shapes.
Our Belgian designer depicts a woman who likes to work in her garden at weekends, in her summer dress, with her man in a sweater casually tied around her waist.
A variety of textures and materials intermingle, including cotton, leather, jacquard jersey, wool, linen, silk, muslin, and unique floral prints. Green, gray and beige contrast with black and white lines. Looks are complemented by hats, glasses and shoes designed by Tim Van Steenbergen.
A contemporary, light and fresh line for an elegant woman who doesn’t compromise comfort.
