Like a magician, Xuan-Thu Nguyen offered us a changing collection.

We find his trademark but it has evolved: seemingly simple, these models are made completely timeless and elegant thanks to small details, unsuspected for some in a collection dominated by gray.

This season, the detail is important: the strapless dresses follow the shape of the body, but over time, the models are transformed and change colors. The collection plays on the appearance and disappearance of colors, embroidery. The garment has its own existence and will become an integral part of the woman’s body. It will then react to hot and cold as if by magic.

The dress is thus redefined according to the seasons: models in nude tones (powder pink, gray, ecru) are adorned with colored embroidery during temperature variations. They become double like this strapless powder pink dress that is adorned with deep green embroidery in contact with the cold. How about this variation on pink in this set where the almost wing-like back is adorned with its famous gray cult floral pattern that becomes much more purple when in contact with the cold. The color variations focused on its floral pattern that becomes part of a strapless dress with big bows and is adorned with deeper green and pink as soon as the temperatures drop. The pastel shades are alongside the flashier colors except for a beautiful dress ecru almost spidery in transparency but devilishly elongating the figure.

This year, an effort was also made on the hairstyles: elaborate rags embellished with hair jewels proudly wearing big balls and very sunny tips. We find his favorite jewelry: the oversized necklace with very large balls to decorate the outfits.

Xuan-Thu Nguyen has once again surprised us and addresses women well anchored in their time but with an unconventional sense of fashion. Or rather for all those who want to sprinkle their wardrobe with a little magic.
