There is a young designer in our capital who makes his bow ties an art of living. Laurent Desgrange imagines classic, playful and colorful bows around the neck or in brooches since 2007 with a real legitimacy. But what is this little cult accessory? We all remember a famous person who made the bow tie a signature, from Winston Churchill to James Bond, all have adopted it. We even wonder if the accessory does not choose itself its ideal man.

Today, wearing a bow tie is to assert your personality, your look and especially your elegance. For several seasons it is everywhere, on all the accessories of the man of course, but also in the female wardrobe. Laurent Desgrange revisits it but not too much, he honors his favorite accessory to keep its true essence, his bow tie remains the flagship asset of the dandy. At the end of the 18th century, the French dandy sought inspiration from the British, from Lord Byron to Oscar Wilde. Our designer holds all this heritage and creates unique pieces true to his influences.

When asked what the ideal bow tie is for you, he answers, “The one that, worn around the neck or as a brooch, “wakes up” any look.”

The bow tie has been around for a hundred years, there are just as many reasons to love Laurent Desgrange’s.
