Debates, concerts, shows, and of course the presentation of new collections by established or up-and-coming designers punctuated the first edition of Under Le Louvre, a privileged opportunity to chat with the designers. I had the chance to meet Corinne Cobson, a designer for whom fashion is not limited to creating pieces in her corner. Meeting with a woman both impressive and sweet, whose smile makes you regret not being able to linger a little…
Corinne Cobson, what attracted you to the idea of exhibiting at Under Le Louvre?
I appreciate the idea of transversality, the mix of cultures. It is a path to the future. During such an event, we develop connections, we reflect, we analyze. I met some very interesting people. I didn’t come here to present a collection but to find a certain atmosphere.
It seems that collaborations are particularly important to you…
Of course, if you want to grow, you can’t stay on your own.
A few words about the pieces you’re presenting here?
The T-shirts are the result of my collaboration with Artus. It is this common project that I wish to highlight at this time. Artus is a very good artist. The 2 coats shown here are vintage models from 1992. I represented them in March during collections week. The studded jacket N.66 is the one that was on display at Joseph during the month of June.
