MICHELLE YEOH ATTENDS 2023 MET GALA WEARING KARL LAGERFELD COUTURE
On Monday, May 1, actress Michelle Yeoh attended The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2023 Met Gala, also known as The Costume Institute Benefit, wearing KARL LAGERFELD couture.
Michelle’s gown was inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic tuxedo look, which he was known to wear during most public outings.
The gown’s exaggerated, double-layered sleeves were crafted from featherweight silk organza and paired with a black satin crepe bodice. A deep, draped back and wide neckline accentuate Michelle’s décolletage, while the front of the pencil skirt is punctuated by a dramatic slit.
The gown was custom created for the Met Gala by KARL LAGERFELD Design Director Hun Kim.
