Confined to your home, it’s the perfect opportunity to start creating that piece of designer furniture you’ve been wanting for so long!
The French start-up Designer Particulier offers you the chance to take part in the design and production phase, to follow its creation with exceptional French craftsmen and designers, and to earn money by taking an interest in the sales of your furniture.
Designer Particulier is a French start-up that develops participatory design in the furniture industry. It offers customers an active role in the design of their furniture, while enabling them to earn money from their co-creation sold on the e-boutique.
« Convinced that the designer’s profession is evolving and that private individuals also have original ideas, we created Designer Particulier to offer a different experience in designing and buying furniture. Our ambition is to turn a one-off idea into a co-marketed product. In this way, we are contributing to a fair distribution of value between the individual, the designer, the craftsman and the manufacturer, while at the same time promoting French craftsmanship », declare Christophe Gernigon and Benoît Loux, co-founders of Designer Particulier.

How does Designer Particulier work?
Stage 1: co-creation The primary aim of the Designer Particulier concept is to bring together private individuals and designers, craftsmen and manufacturers. If someone has an original idea for a piece of furniture, Designer Particulier supports them in developing their project through a participative design experience.
Stage 2: co-creation Designer Particulier has selected designers, craftsmen and manufacturers based in France with unique and complementary skills to help individuals realize their projects and bring their creations to life. A network of exceptional partners 100% made in France.
Stage 3: Co-publishing Once the custom-made furniture has been created, Designer Particulier can offer to co-publish it. The creation is then offered for sale on the site’s e-boutique, where each party (customer, designer, Designer Particulier) receives a fair remuneration.
