NEW ERA: A UNIQUE FASHION SHOW PRESENTING THE BEST NEW TALENTS FROM
ISTITUTO MARANGONI LONDON. A COMBINATION OF HOW TECHNOLOGY, NATURE AND FORWARD THINKING CAN DRIVE US
London, 2nd of July. Istituto Marangoni London will unveil NEW ERA, a pioneering event in which the School enables their ten best talents of the year to showcase their collections through a bespoke and visionary Fashion Show.
Through a visionary reflection upon the contamination between fashion, technology and environment, the event gives voice to a new generational understanding of concepts and trends of the future, within an international landscape.
Ten Fashion Design students have been selected to showcase their c
reations, chosen by an authoritative Jury of industry professionals who have carefully and passionately selected the winners. Each of the chosen talents will present six outfits on the runway. These collections are the result of research and experimentation carried out during the three year academic period are attentive to fashion trends while keeping an inspired optimistic and forward looking approach.
Each student will present their own personal view on inspirations from all over the world, ranging from Chinese traditions to Italian heritage and performance arts, through history and futuristic lenses, all the way through the 60s and 70s swinging London and the USSR Russia from the 20s. The reach in terms of creative outcome is entirely global, as a reflection of both London’s and the School’s international approach and horizons.
Mittelmoda finalist Andrea Roman will showcase a full menswear collection, Natalia Esteve Garcia Ancira will showcase both womenswear / menswear collections and all other graduate
s: Silje Wamnes, Arian Krasniqi, Ao Lun He, Rebecca Shamoon, Kristina Novikova, Vinny Lim, Antonia Garcia and Gaia Burani are debuting on the catwalk with womenswear.
Istituto Marangoni London is proud to present these unique collections in collaboration with HUNGER TV who have created a bespoke editorial and video content for this occasion.

This year, the Fashion Show is also the chance for the London School to host the third edition of Istituto Marangoni’s Global Alumni Reunion, welcoming a unique network of professionals across fashion, art and design from all around the world. On this occasion, Alumnus Alessandro Sartori, will be awarded for his curiosity and passion that have allowed him to venture beyond fashion aesthetics and commit to a true recyclable production process
