« The celestial Phoenix began its work / By the terrestrial Phoenix, adorning with such plumage / Its reviving limbs that the annual torch / From Cairan to Fez sees nothing more beautiful.  »
Guillaume du Bartas

And the woman, like a phoenix, rises from the ashes and adorns herself in her most beautiful feathers to enter the new dream of the Maison On Aura Tout Vu.

Every season, Livia S. Stoianova, Yassen V. Samouilov and André de Sà Pessoa for On Aura Tout Vu choose a theme that transports us to shores of fantasy and beaches of poetry. For Spring/Summer 2011, they offer us a show of beauty under the sign of feathers, a true entry into a dreamlike world, giving free rein to their creativity and fantasy without leaving any feathers behind.

« Flying Dreams! » is an ode to the muses, rebellious women and lightly laced Amazons who, riding Pegasus, fulfill the common man’s irresistible urge to fly in order to reach the divine constellations. Once again, glamour, poetry and fantasy come together in airy, sparkling yet ultra-feminine silhouettes.

The Haute-Couture Spring Summer 2011 collection, studded with Swarovski crystals, features Calais lace, the finest furs from Jean Terzakou et Cie and delicate silks from Japanese fashion house HINAYA. The sparkling rhinestone collar is both a technical and visual success.

A rhinestone angel in tutu opens the ball, accompanied by a winged bicycle customized with feathers and Swarovski rhinestones, created especially for the heart chain. The tone is set: feathers will be part of the show.

Feathers are everywhere, on tight bustiers in two-tone fashion, in trompe l’oeil sequins on tops, in prints on fur jackets, on Icarus booties to let the muses take flight. She knows how to dress the bottom of a fishnet dress in white pearls and delicately adorn the décolleté of a dress with rhinestones, whether deep or open on the back.

Maison On Aura Tout Vu offers us delicate, almost spidery lace, light and transparent over pants or a daring sarouel jumpsuit, when not reinvented as a plasticized waterproof jacket worn over a black sequined shorty.

Fur is black and feathered in a glamorous version. Available as an asymmetrical bolero, angel wings or choker, it’s a natural choice for glamorous silhouettes. In tricolor versions (white, black and gray), blousons are sometimes embroidered with crystals on the collar.

When the designers decide to add a dash of color to a tricolored collection, it’s a flamboyant fuchsia that dresses the drape of a goddess gown in response to the evanescent yellow of an airy two-tone dress in chiffon drape.

Last season, the designers proposed a bag in the shape of a fish. This season, it’s time for a black elephant set with crystals and a touch of fur on the head, or the Flying Dreams partner plane, which sometimes pushes the fantasy to the point of landing on a fur runway.

Boldness and creativity are again the order of the day with this stunning ivory lace gown with nest bustier in which real doves and rhinestone eggs sit peacefully. And to the tune of a wedding march appears the impressive unicorn bride with a hat topped by a twisted horn, in an impressive white feather coat dress, revealing legs delicately dressed in sparkling stockings.

For Spring Summer 2011, On Aura Tout Vu is offering us original, whimsical fashion to take us ever higher, perhaps among the angels. Their muses, adorned with feathers, rhinestones and crystals, and wearing feather booties, seem ready to reach for the stars in style…
