What if, for a privileged Parisian weekend getaway, or a romantic moment for two, you were to treat yourself to the most beautiful view of Paris? The Eiffel Tower appears majestic and sparkling, the Dôme des Invalides and the blue-grey hues of the city’s rooftops come to mind.

This moment is now possible in the aptly named Paris Suite, nestled on the 8th and top floor of the Terrass Hôtel. Located in a majestic 19th-century building overlooking the famous Butte Montmartre cemetery, the Terrass Hôtel has been offering one of the finest views of Paris for almost a century, in a legendary bohemian neighborhood populated by artists, poets and famous people. The Sacré-Coeur and the Moulin Rouge are just a stone’s throw from the hotel, but there’s plenty to keep you entertained: art galleries such as Galerie W on rue Lepic, fashion boutiques, hidden patios and the silhouettes of the last Moulins de Paris are waiting to be discovered.

The only 4-star hotel in Montmartre, the hotel boasts 98 rooms, seminar rooms and a restaurant, Le Diapason, offering refined French cuisine in a new, elegant, uncluttered setting. From May to September, the restaurant opens its doors onto the hotel’s 7th-floor terrace, offering a breathtaking view of Paris and giving a Central Parc feel to the green lung that is the Butte cemetery! From the private terrace, or from inside the Suite Paris thanks to its bay window, you can see the whole capital for a moment of romance and relaxation in an exceptional room, where the view is not the only asset.

Completely redesigned by architect-designer Denis Doistau, the Suite Paris is also the capital’s hottest high-tech room, featuring touch-screen furniture unique in the Paris hotel world. In restful parma and taupe tones, with birch-colored designer oak furnishings, the Suite Paris is a jewel of refinement and elegance tinged with modernity. The wall-mounted mirror facing the bay window lets you enjoy the magnificent view from inside the room. The formidable King Size suspended bed offers unforgettable top-of-the-range comfort, complemented by the hotel’s famous « pillow menu », allowing guests to choose their own pillow. Particular attention has been paid to the indirect LED lighting in the contemporary, sober canopy – it’s like being suspended in the clouds!

Courtesy tray, Nespresso coffeemaker, 32″ wall-mounted flat screen, B&O telephone, whirlpool bathtub, chromotherapy shower – nothing is missing from the perfection of this designer space. But what makes the Suite Paris unique is its interactive touch-screen furniture. In standby mode, the tempered glass top of the elegant table that adorns the « Suite Paris » comes alive with a soothing virtual aquarium. With a flick of the wrist, it gives way to Internet browsing, the media center or even games. This multi-functional piece of furniture, equipped with an integrated device offering exceptional sound quality, completes the memorable 21st-century hotel experience offered by Terrass Hôtel with its new series of rooms.

At the cutting edge of elegance, refinement and technology, the six new rooms in earthy, sandy and linen tones also shake up traditional codes and completely revamp the living space. The central element around which the space is organized is the bed. A clever half-height partition in designer oak acts as a headboard, delimiting each living space: the functional raised desk allows you to work in peace, while the bedroom is completely separate, with a bed facing a wall of mirrors on which the television is revealed! And as a little extra, the mini-bar is practical and at arm’s length.

And if you just want to enjoy the view, come and take a sunny break with friends or share an exceptional dinner on the 7th floor terrace of Le Diapason restaurant. The panoramic terrace offers one of the most admirable views of the rooftops and monuments of Paris on one side, and a view of the famous Moulin de la Galette on the other. The restaurant offers fresh, inventive and refreshing summer cuisine from chef Romain Collgon and pastry chef Guillaume Gil. on the terrace or first floor. But it’s always possible to take a snack break in the Summer Lounge, where you can enjoy a snack or smoothie, or sip a drink comfortably seated on the terrace from 2.30pm to 6.00pm. And rare enough to be highlighted, the restaurant offers a weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11.30am to 4pm in the first floor dining room.

A true forerunner in many fields, attentive to trends and technological developments, the Terrass Hotel, cradle of the family-owned Hôtels Maurice Hurand group, confirms with these new rooms its attention to the well-being of its guests and its constant desire to anticipate their expectations. Offering classic, measured luxury, the Terrass Hotel will be ideal for those wishing to discover the bohemian charm of the Butte while maintaining a certain level of service and comfort.
