Maison CHAPAL reinvents luxury: a new vision of its iconic collections

In a world where luxury and fashion are constantly evolving, the Maison CHAPAL stands out by offering a new vision of its emblematic collections, combining elegance, history and savoir-faire.

Inspired by aviation heroes such as Guynemer, Mermoz and Saint-Exupéry, CHAPAL revisits its famous jackets with a modern, refined approach, embodied by Gabriel, the modern-day aviator.

The Place de la Concorde, close to the brand’s Paris showroom, provides the perfect backdrop for this new interpretation of CHAPAL’s iconic pieces. Gabriel, thanks to his sensibility, blends into this universe and adopts these virile jackets with finesse and lightness. Ruggedness becomes softness and comfort, while the aviator is transformed into a delicate romantic figure.

Gabriel, with his timeless elegance, plays on the ambiguity of genres by layering pieces. He sublimates original models made from noble materials such as glazed leather, velvet, sheepskin, Merino wool and Whipcord gabardine. Bold, refined accessories add a touch of delicacy, revealing that style is above all a question of personality and has no gender.

Since 1832, Maison CHAPAL, one of France’s oldest fashion houses, has perpetuated the tradition of French luxury, designing and manufacturing its entire collections in its own factory in the Creuse region of France, with no subcontracting. Its international history is closely linked to aviation, with the manufacture of jackets and overalls for the French Air Force in 1914, then for the American Air Force thanks to its New York tanneries.

Today, all skins are tanned and dyed at the Manufacture de Crocq (23), and each item is cut and assembled by a single craftsman who signs his model, called the “Secret Label”. This integration guarantees genuine “made in France” for a company with the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” label.

Whether for ready-to-wear or made-to-measure, all Maison CHAPAL customers are individually advised by a personal shopper in the Jean-François Bardinon showroom or remotely, guaranteeing an authentic and exceptional luxury experience.
