Leica, the famous brand of high-end cameras, has just opened its brand-new Parisian Flagship in the heart of Paris. The Leica Store Paris Village Royal is located at 26 rue Boissy d’Anglas and offers visitors an immersive 300m² experience. This exclusive new retail space has been designed in the spirit of a modern Parisian apartment, with an art gallery, library and café, workshops, customer service, private lounge, photographic walks and more.
The German brand Leica, known for its excellence, quality and innovation, wanted to offer its enthusiasts a place to live photography. The Leica Store enables visitors to benefit from expert advice and personalized services to meet their specific needs. The Akademie Leica also offers technical and artistic courses for customers, including Masterclasses, workshops and photowalks to develop their photography skills.
The sales area also offers high-quality customer service, with an after-sales department to answer questions from customers and enthusiasts alike. Visitors can also explore the world of art and culture by consulting books and browsing exhibitions in the photo gallery. The Leica gallery is inaugurated with an exhibition by Paul Cupido, the first guest artist in the INSTANTS residency created by Château Palmer and Leica, born of a shared desire to support contemporary photographic creation.
The Leica Store Paris Village Royal includes a 100m² gallery that will enable the brand to exhibit the biggest names in photography. It also features a brand-new customer service center and a lounge dedicated to Leica Akademie courses and experiences. This new retail space is the ideal place to discover Leica products, share your passion and experience with other photography enthusiasts, and experience photography in a different way.
Cyril Thomas, Director of Leica Camera France, comments: “Leica represents over 170 years of experience and innovation in the world of optics and high-end cameras. It was our duty to finally open a store dedicated to this cult brand and its unique products. This new store will enable us to present the entire Leica brand universe, with products ranging from cameras and optics, to binoculars, spotting scopes and laser rangefinders, watches and laser televisions.”
The new Leica Store was designed by German architecture and interior design firm Holzrausch, which specializes in creating innovative, sustainable projects. Paris-based furniture design studio OHA (Office Heinzemann Ayadi) was also involved in the creation of the new retail space, creating unique furniture and objects using sustainable materials and paying particular attention to detail and ergonomics.
In short, the Leica Store Paris Village Royal is much more than just a store; it’s a photographic living space where customers can discover Leica products, benefit from expert advice, attend courses and workshops at the Akademie Leica, explore the world of art and culture at the photo gallery, and discuss their passion with the Leica France teams. This new, exclusive 300-square-meter sales space, designed in the spirit of a modern Parisian apartment, offers visitors an immersive experience, with areas dedicated to each product range. It was designed by German interior architecture firm Holzrausch and furniture design studio OHA (Office Heinzemann Ayadi), who brought their expertise in innovation and sustainability to bear to create a unique sales environment.
