Fast Johnnie pays tribute to the muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s with a bold design on the Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST models.
Harley-Davidson revolutionizes the world of luxury motorcycling with the launch of Fast Johnnie, a limited edition from its Enthusiast Collection. Inspired by the high-performance muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s, this special series features Celestial Blue paint and white racing stripes on the Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST models.
With only 2,000 available worldwide, Fast Johnnie celebrates the heritage and culture of Harley-Davidson riders. The special paintwork is reminiscent of the contrasting « racing » or « rally » stripes and logos emblematic of the muscle cars of the era. The Fast Johnnie image is also featured on the fuel tanks of the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle factory team motorcycles participating in the Moto America King of the Baggers series.
The Fast Johnnie character is inspired by the story of a piglet named Johnnie, adopted in 1920 by Harley-Davidson rider Ray Weishaar, a member of the famous « Wrecking Crew ». The piglet became the team’s mascot and gave rise to the nickname « Hog », still associated with Harley-Davidson today.
Brad Richards, Vice President of Design and Creative Director at Harley-Davidson, explains the importance of the Celestial Blue stripes and color, reminiscent of the popular muscle car hue. The custom white design and the classic thin-wide-fine pattern on the sides and top of the motorcycle trim offer a distinctive look and a nod to Americana.
The Fast Johnnie models in the Enthusiast Collection are available from €26,180 incl. VAT for the Low Rider ST, €39,590 incl. VAT for the Street Glide ST and €39,590 incl. VAT for the Road Glide ST. All models are powered by the powerful Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine and offer a unique riding experience.
