Valentino was the go-to fashion house for many celebrities at the MET Gala 2023 in New York. The Italian luxury brand’s artistic director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, personally designed looks for many of the stars in attendance, showcasing the brand’s stunning haute couture and black tie collections.
Rihanna was one of the most talked-about celebrities in a breathtaking Valentino Haute Couture gown and cape. The silk faille gown featured an impressive 5-meter train and 14-meter hemline, while the cape was adorned with 30 camellias made up of 500 petals. The dress and cape were made by 30 seamstresses, demonstrating the level of craftsmanship that goes into Valentino designs.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas was resplendent in a black faille coat, a strapless black cady dress with cady detail on the side and black leather gloves, all designed especially for her by Pierpaolo Piccioli. Her husband, Nick Jonas, also wore a Valentino look from the Black Tie Fall/Winter 23/24 collection, featuring a black nappa leather blazer, gray-on-tone pants, white poplin shirt and black silk faille tie.
Other celebrities also wore Valentino creations to the event, including Pedro Pascal, Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Florence Pugh, Labrinth, Viola Davis, Julius Tennon, Stephanie Hsu and Mirka Federer. Each of their looks was carefully crafted by Pierpaolo Piccioli, demonstrating Valentino’s ability to create unique and stunning designs for a diverse range of celebrities.
Valentino has long been a favorite among Hollywood’s elite, and their dazzling designs at the MET Gala 2023 only confirm their status as one of the world’s leading fashion houses. With each new collection, Valentino continues to push the boundaries of fashion and style, and it’s no wonder so many celebrities choose to wear their designs on the red carpet.
