Café de la Paix has teamed up with one of the most recognized and talented fashion designers of his generation to create a unique patisserie.

Fashion designer Stéphane Rolland, renowned for his flair for graphic design and his influences on art and architecture, has created an exclusive “Pebble Cake” for Café de la Paix.
Pebblecake
Stéphane Rolland’s wish came true, thanks to the expert magic of Dominique Costa, head pastry chef at Café de la Paix, giving birth to the most luxurious dessert in Paris. Presented in the form of a galet that will seduce chocolate lovers, this nugget truffled with dark gold is composed of a Breton cookie, a creamy mousse with a flowing heart combining bitterness and sweetness, enrobed in a thin layer of crunchy chocolate wrapped in gold leaf.

Having tasted it, we recommend this tasty work of art, which will surprise you with its melt-in-the-mouth texture and the quality of its cocoa.

The “Pebble Cake” has been available on the Café de la Paix menu for one year since September 16, 2014. The restaurant will also offer a selection of two Ronnefeldt teas to match the flavors of the pastry: Cream orange and Earl Grey bergamot.

To be enjoyed without moderation in the cosy lounges of Café de la Paix:
2 rue Scribe – 75009 Paris
