Spring 2013 saw the birth of Huile Secret de Beauté. A new arrival with an undeniable family resemblance: as always with Leonor Greyl, its genesis was the fruit of a singular osmosis, of an innovative, ethical and environmentally-friendly approach, but where the performance of exclusively natural ingredients is combined with memories of childhood summers. The latest creation is inspired by an oil tailor-made by Jean-Marie Greyl to sublimate and protect the skin of his wife Leonor and daughter Caroline, exposed to the summer sun.
A wonderful oil, so easy to live with, that smelled so good and made your tan last so long, that Caroline Greyl wanted to find it and share it beyond the circle of intimates. A secret revealed, but still a family affair, since it was her husband Tom who, under the benevolent eye of Jean-Marie Greyl, developed this new-generation sublimating skin care product. Acclaimed by women the world over, Secret de Beauté Oil has become a cult summer treatment in the Leonor Greyl range.
Spring 2014 also looks set to deliver on its promise of must-have new beauty allies, as it welcomes the first steps of its shimmering little sister, Huile Secret de Beauté Version Or Pailletée.
Combining a trio of fine natural oils (Buriti oil, rich in keratin, which protects against external aggressions; Pomegranate oil, rich in antioxidants, which promotes tissue regeneration; Mongogo extract, rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, which forms a natural protective film), it reconciles refinement and protective ritual in a single gesture, as it nourishes and silkens skin and hair while illuminating them with subtle golden highlights.
A feat of finesse and lightness, it penetrates in the blink of an eye thanks to its airy, non-greasy texture, and leaves behind the same fragrant trail that already marks the olfactory imprint of the “classic” Secret de Beauté Oil. Its spray form makes application as simple as it is voluptuous, like an airy veil of beneficial, precious particles to be casually sprayed all over hair and body. Elegantly dressed in the liquid gold of its formula, Leonor Greyl’s iconic, pure-geometry bottle is embellished with a gold cap. Playful and multi-purpose, beneficial and glamorous, Huile Secret de Beauté Version Or has only one flaw: its ephemeral nature. What’s rare is precious, and the beauty will only dance for one summer, exclusively in Sephora stores. But we can’t blame her for this delicious fickleness: we’ve already fallen under her spell.
