From May 20 to June 8, 2014, Grant’s is launching the 3rd edition of its unique concept: L’atelier blendologie by Grant’s. Luxsure will have the pleasure of organizing a private evening in this setting, follow our social networks to be invited to this exceptional event.
GRANT’S, INITIATOR OF BLENDOLOGY
In 2012, for the 1st edition, web users were able to vote online and take part in the creation of a limited edition blend with Brian Kinsman, Grant’s Cellar Master.
In 2013, equipped with a blendologie box set, Grant’s enabled them to take interactive courses, live on the blendologie website, hosted by brand ambassador Ludovic Ducrocq and his expert guests.
In 2014, buoyed by this success and the enthusiasm of Internet users, Grant’s plans to go one step further by offering a unique full-scale experience. This new event inaugurates a 3rd chapter that will focus on transmission and exchange with an amateur public curious to discover the secrets of blending.
The space offers a didactic and interactive introduction to 7 WORKSHOPS :
– Five multi-sensory workshops introduce visitors to the art of blending. Visitors will discover the ingredients essential to blending, and the different stages involved in making a blend whisky (cereals, aromas, flavours, ageing and blending).
– A masterclass led by an expert Blendologist on3 themes: tasting, blending and ageing. A unique opportunity to recreate a live whisky blend.
– A tasting workshop to appreciate the different aromatic profiles of the Grant’s family products (Family Reserve, Grant’s 25 years, Sherry Cask…).
Grant’s, an emblematic brand with unique expertise handed down through 5 generations, enables whisky lovers to understand the differences between malt and grain whisky, and the importance of ageing… A unique opportunity to become a blendologist’s apprentice.
