The Mairie de Paris has entrusted Made in Paris with the creation of its high-end candle collection. With its delicate fragrances and elegant design featuring details evocative of the Capital, each candle evokes a famous district of the city, a true olfactory memory for Paris lovers.
The presentation of our 100% made in France scented candles took place in an elegant salon at Paris’ Hôtel de Ville. The natural wax comes from Normandy, the glass is cane-blown in the pure tradition of master glassmakers, and the fragrance is created by a nose and developed in Grasse in the south of France.
The project, which was launched in September 2013, now includes 8 candles with delicate scents to recapture the ambiance of Paris’s most emblematic neighborhoods.
– Marais: woody, coppery scents. A very masculine candle
– Canal Saint-Martin: scents of flowers, fruit and vanilla. This candle is reminiscent of a summer stroll.
– Champs-Elysées: The sparkling, festive and glamorous notes of champagne characterize this fruity, green and floral fragrance. It evokes the scent of Parisians on New Year’s Eve on the Champs Elysées.
– Saint-Germain des Prés: The woody, ambery, vetiver fragrance takes us to the heart of the Sorbonne’s intellectual ambience.
– Place des Victoires: a chypre, floral and musky fragrance. It reveals the chic and elegance of this neighborhood.
– Butte Montmartre: Floral, fruity and green notes that symbolize the fresh air and carefree spirit of Parisian artists.
– Île Saint-Louis: a candle with powdery, floral accents that brings serenity.
– Place Vendôme: French luxury and excellence in a floral, aldehydic fragrance of extreme refinement. This candle represents sophistication.
Once all 8 boxes of candles have been stacked, the Eiffel Tower will appear.
