To participate, pre-registered Internet users must convert euros into miles in order to bid (bidding rights). With each purchase of miles, discount coupons are offered by the site’s partner for your next trip. For example, for €10 (100 miles), you’ll receive €10 in coupons.
Depending on the product on offer, the countdown timer runs from 15 seconds to 5 hours. For each bid, you are debited 10 Miles, which increases the value of the bid by 1 cent, and resets the timer.
Attractive prices and affordable bids are the stuff of dreams, but it’s important to remember that you don’t win every time – just like in poker, you have to be patient to bid last and win the auction. After all, only the last bidder to place a bid at the end of the bidding period wins the right to purchase the holiday at the auction price.
