MiharaYasuhiro pays tribute to the Mods in this explosive Fall Winter 2014-2015 collection. These young rebels of the 50’s and 60’s influenced the entire planet, even as far away as Japan.
Rebellion and strong character have always been part of the DNA of this fine house. Mihara Yasuhiro blends streetwear with classic influences to create a collection that screams modernity, propelling mods into the 21st century. Tweed is revisited, as are chsterfield coats, faded denim is worn with a typical Mod three-button jacket. The knitted jacquards pay homage to the vibrant colors of the vespas of the period, as well as to the work of painter Ito Jakuchu, combining Japanese tradition with sobritish influences.
A great success!
