Eternal dandy chic is the motto of the Smalto house. For its Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Youn Choun Bak, the brand’s artistic director, takes us on a journey in a capsule of classic elegance with a modern twist.

Five scenes made up the Smalto presentation, each distilling the essence of the Smalto man. Playful, classic, summery or casual, he is the epitome of elegance in all its guises. Shades of blue and earthy tones are the main colors for the season, contrasted by whites and grays. Silhouettes range from 3-piece suits to bomber jackets in leather, suede or textile.

Shirts are worn in a relaxed way (open collar), contrasting with the rigor of pants, which are cut close to the body.

Spring/summer also means beach, and that’s why we’ve got the right clothes for it, with printed shorts, sandals and shirts.

The cast included Rutger Schoone, Tom Webb, Anthon Wellsjo, Peter Bruder, Nicolas Ripoll, Zakaria Khiare, Isaac Carew, Jakob Hybholt, Luuk Van Os, Jarrod Scott, Gerhard Freidl and Thorben Gartner.
