Flamboyant and proud, Japanese fashion house Miharayasuhiro has chosen the mythical Phoenix bird as the guiding principle of its collection this season. A symbol of renewal and rebirth, it was the next logical step in the brand’s direction to choose this bird as the emblem for its Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
Spring is the season of rebirth, and it’s around this theme that Mihara Yasuhiro focuses her creations.
Blue, emerald and black are the collection’s flagship colors. Prints also play an important role: from tartan to stripes and feathers, they can be found on almost every silhouette, without being too much.
Prints are mixed on outfits, and details such as the lining of shorts, bags or belts are reminiscent of them.
The general attitude of this collection tends to be relaxed and casual, and we can see pieces inspired by sportswear: leather bombers and sneakers are also integrated into outfits this season.
A cool spring/summer means an appropriate wardrobe, and the Japanese fashion house has understood this: light shirts, t-shirts and shorts are not in short supply.
The cast of this Miharayasuhiro collection included : Abel Van Oeveren, Malcolm de Ruiter, Andrew Westerman, Benjamin Jarvis, Arthur Gosse, Laurie Harding and Matthieu Grégoire.
