Henriot 2006 vintage: a sensory voyage of discovery

Henriot is a family business. Last week, it chose a venue that perfectly matched its identity: the private mansion on rue Junot in Montmartre. Henriot presented its 2006 vintage. Here’s the story of an evening in the countryside.

To get to the mansion, I walk up Rue Lepic to a small cul-de-sac. I discover a sublime mansion nestled in a green setting. A complete change of scenery. You’d think you were in the countryside. We then go on to taste the 2006 vintage. It’s powerful and well-balanced. The Maison’s cellar master Laurent Fresnet is on hand for the evening.

A series of photos by Erwan Balanant were also presented. They’re a great success. I have a chat with the photographer who spent three days on site to take the shots. He tells me that the weather was gloomy during the shoot and that it was really important to capture the right moment. A gypsy jazz band sets the mood for the evening. A barbeque was organized, with a hint of vacation in the air.
A very pleasant country evening.
