INVITES NATASHE GORNIK VERNISSAGE

After numerous exhibitions throughout the-United States, New York photographer Natasha Gornik has chosen Paris for her very first exhibition in in Europe.

Natasha was born in Chicago in 1976. Based in Brooklyn, she describes herself as an artist who loves new experiences. These experiences nourish her photographs, capturing the dynamism and vitality of the individual through portraiture. In recent years, she has continued to photograph her life in the form of a diary, punctuated by the people she meets along the way, her sexuality and her travels.

In this exhibition called GOOD SOUP, Natasha Gornik introduces us to the New York S&M scene of which she is a part. Documenting it, but not just documenting it, because she’s part of it, she offers us a genuine personal narrative, in the form of a large visual diary. Capturing intimate, vivid, in-the-moment moments, sometimes as a voyeur, others as a participant.

A subversive journey into a world of play, domination and sex.

GOOD SOUP by Natasha Gornik at Galerie Les Anges de la Mode 50 rue de Sévigné in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris.
From July 10 to 12, 2013. Vernissage on Wednesday July 10 from 6pm.
