Sacai is a Japanese brand that presented its fall/winter men’s collection during January’s men’s fashion week.
Its definition of men’s fashion is relaxed, and the house offers revisited basics with a touch of fantasy (prints, shapes, colors). Abe Chitose, the stylist behind the creative side, is an alumnus of Comme des Garçons, and this is evident in her work and approach.
Tartan, faux denim overlays, long scarves – one thing’s for sure, the Sacai man is all about comfort. He also fully embraces his kitsch side, proudly sporting tapestry-patterned pantacourts. Jackets feature multiple pockets, because practicality is important beyond the 90s aesthetic of the entire collection.
